Samva is an early beta app for discovering nearby rooms, activities, and people with similar interests. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your email address, full name, date of birth, username, interests, city, avatar and profile details, and authentication metadata. Your public profile uses your username; your real name and email are not shown to other users.

We may collect an optional mobile number as unverified profile data. It is not used for sign-in during indie beta.

We collect room, chat, report, feedback, and uploaded image content that you create or send in the app. We also collect basic device, network, and log information needed for security, debugging, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.

Location

Samva asks for location only after onboarding preview screens. If you grant permission, the app sends an approximate location to support nearby discovery and room creation. You can skip location and use city-level discovery instead. Raw exact GPS location is not intended to be displayed publicly.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure your account, send verification codes, show relevant rooms, support chat and room participation, process reports, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and communicate important service updates.

Service Providers

We may use trusted providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery, analytics, crash reporting, maps and location support, media storage, and security checks. These providers process data only as needed to provide Samva.

Moderation And Safety

Reports, room activity, feedback, and chat content may be reviewed to enforce safety rules, investigate abuse, and protect users. We may limit, suspend, or remove accounts and content when needed.

Data Retention And Deletion

We keep account and activity data for as long as needed to operate Samva, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. You can delete your account in the app or read the deletion steps at samva.in/delete-account.
